Julia knows she’s supposed to get something out of reading the Bible but admits that she doesn’t think it is very relevant to her life. She has fun long boarding with friends while discussing whether the Bible should be important in her life.

JP's a little more knowledgeable about the Bible than others but isn't annoying about it. He doesn’t always understand everything in the Bible but realizes that reading the Bible is a lot like long boarding – it takes commitment and practice.

Ellie believes the Bible is just a big excuse for people to judge others. At best, she sees the Bible as a collection of fairy tales.
