Travis used to love church - until he was hurt by insensitive comments made by a fellow church member. Now all he can see is a toxic culture, and is questioning whether church is for him at all.

Travis

Emerging, young music producer. Travis grew up in the church and feels it’s overly-produced. Instead of the focus being on the pastor and worship leaders, he feels that the church should work like a band – where everyone knows their part and plays together in harmony.

Jade

An artist and photographer. She'll illustrate how God’s family is large, diverse, sometimes healthy and sometimes dysfunctional – just like people’s immediate families.

Insensitive Friend

An insensitive friend deeply hurts Travis by his careless remarks. Travis tries to bring his concerns to him, but he talks over him and doesn't listen, pushing Travis further away.
